First Aid reasonable adjustments through COVID Ends: All reasonable adjustments implemented during the pandemic should be removed before the 1st of September 2022 Statement on the delivery of First Aid Training Certificate Change: As a result of feedback and suggestions, we have updated our certificates and will now only issue one certificate for each course (commencing from 1 September 2022). The one certificate is a combined Statement of Attainment and descriptive certificate. Course Material Improvements: The Pool Lifeguard TAG (Trainer and Assessor Guide) has been updated:A session plan for the Pool Lifeguard Re-accreditation course has been includedThe answer guide has been updatedIf you would like an updated Pool Lifeguard TAG, please request one in your next workbook pack order. A Pool Lifeguard Re-accreditation PowerPoint has been created with content relating to aquatic risk management, aquatic supervision, communication, water safety, aquatic rescue, and oxygen use and aftercare. We have sought feedback from other RLSS State’s that have recently had to re-apply for registration and are expecting an audit as part of our re-registration process. In readiness for the audit (and as continual improvement of our processes) we have reviewed and updated a number of policy’s and procedures to ensure we are operating in a manner according to the RTO Standards. Some of the changes you may have noticed recently are a result of these reviews, including: An updated RTO Policy ManualA Registration and Enrolment process that enables us to: Provide suitable disclosure upfront Accurately records student information Provides for quick certification An updated Professional Development process which includes: Industry Professional Development, and VET Professional Development Zoom Meetings: We will be holding 3 Zoom meeting sessions for trainers who weren’t able to attend the previous Trainer’s Workshop. Each Zoom session will contain different content from the Trainer and Assessor Network event in August (Workshop).
